Should we allow the teaching of
Jehovah’s Witnesses on our Christian social networks?
2Ti
2:15 Do your best to present yourself to
God as an approved worker who has nothing to be ashamed of, handling the word
of truth with precision.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus Christ was a perfect man, and that He is a person
distinct from God the Father. However, they also teach that before His earthly
life, Jesus was a spirit creature, Michael the archangel, who was created
by God and became the Messiah at His baptism.
According to Jehovah’s Witnesses, Jesus is a mighty one, although not almighty
as Jehovah God is. According to John 1:1 in their Bible, The New World Translation, Christ is “a god,” but not “the God.” They teach that
Jesus “was and is and always will be beneath Jehovah” and that “Christ and God are not coequal”.
Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe God came from heaven to earth, yet
they cannot deny someone came down. So they shift the identity of the one who
ascended to an arch angel, Michael. Jesus is supposedly Michael because
his name means ‘who is like God. "It proves Michael the archangel is no
other than the only begotten son of God, now Jesus Christ. The very name
Michael means who is like God and indicates Jehovah God is without like or
equal." Jesus is actually the incarnation of Michael the Arch angel and
resumed the name when he ascended into heaven
The truth
Angles
Angles were created to serve (Heb 1:14)
Believers are not allowed to worship angles or to seek to communicate with
them (Col 2:18; Rev 2:8,9)
(Eph 5:19-20) Then you will recite to one another psalms,
hymns, and spiritual songs; you will sing and make music to the Lord with your
hearts; (20)
you will consistently give thanks to God the Father for everything in
the name of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah;
Jesus Christ
It is generally accepted that Jesus was truly a man who walked on the
earth in Israel 2000 years ago. The debate begins when the subject of Jesus'
full identity is discussed. Almost every major religion teaches that Jesus was
a prophet or a good teacher or a godly man. The problem is that the Bible tells
us that Jesus was infinitely more than a prophet, a good teacher, or a godly
man.
Why is the question over Jesus’ true identity so important? Why does it matter whether or not Jesus is God? The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). Only God could pay such an infinite penalty (Rom 5:8; 2Cor 5:21).

Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt.
Jesus had to be man so He could die.
Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ.
Jesus’ deity is why He is the only way of salvation.
Jesus’ deity is
why He proclaimed, “I am the way and the
truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
(Mat 1:1) This is a record of the life of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
(Mat 1:1) This is a record of the life of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
(Mat
1:21) She will give birth to a son, and
you are to name him Jesus, because he is the one who will save his people from their
sins."
(Mat
1:23) "See, a virgin will become
pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel," which
means, "God with us."
(Mat
3:17) Then a voice from heaven said,
"This is my Son, whom I love. I am pleased with him!"
Jesus Christ, the Son of God
There are 70 verses in the New Testament as to “Son of God” and listed
are just a few as to why I believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
(Col
1:15) The Son is the image of the
invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
(1Jn
4:15) God abides in the one who
acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, and he abides in God.
(1Jn
5:10) The person who believes in the Son
of God believes this testimony personally. The person who does not believe God
has made him a liar by not believing the testimony that he has given about his
Son.
(1Jn 5:20) We also know that the Son of God has come and
has given us understanding so that we may know the true God. We are in union
with the one who is true, his Son Jesus the Messiah, who is the true God and
eternal life.
1Jn 5:10-13 The person who believes in the
Son of God believes this testimony personally. The person who does not believe
God has made him a liar by not believing the testimony that he has given about
his Son. (11) This is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this
life is found in his Son. (12) The person who has the Son has this life. The
person who does not have the Son of God does not have this life. (13) I have written these things to you who
believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have
eternal life.
Jesus’s feeling in regard to false teaching: He hates it!
(Rev 2:14)
But I have a few things against you: You have there some who hold to
the teaching of Balaam, the one who taught Balak to put a stumbling block
before the people of Israel so that they would eat food sacrificed to idols and
practice immorality.
(Rev 2:16)
So repent. If you don't, I will come to you quickly and wage war
against them with the sword of my mouth.
